The Bachelor's Degree or Baccalaureate course in Sciences of Educational and Training Processes offers basic knowledge and skills in educational sciences. It aims to provide a basic level of training, preparing students to become planners, trainers and coordinators in schools, vocational training centres and other educational settings. It provides the preparation required for further specialisation in the field of education.

At the end of the course graduates must demonstrate:
- to have acquired an adequate knowledge and understanding of contents and research methodologies in the field of educational science;
- to know how to identify, analyse and interpret supply and demand for education and training, both individual and as a group, with a holistic vision of the individual and of education;
- to have developed an awareness of education, attentive to the complexity of current socio-cultural systems;
- to be able to observe and evaluate educational and teaching situations, including through the internship, which offers a chance to combine theory and practice;
- to have acquired the necessary communication and interpersonal skills in group work and in teaching interactions both at an individual and institutional level;
- to have acquired adequate computer skills for communication and information management;
- to know and use a foreign language.

At the end of the course, graduates will be able to find work as:
- trainers and tutors for educational planning in cultural, recreational and sports services, and in vocational training centres;
- educators and activity organisers for activities involving the advancement of women;
- educators and trainers in literacy classes for adults and immigrants in both private and public cultural centres.
The Bachelor's Degree course provides the requisites for admission to the Master's Degree Course in Planning and Management of School and Training Services offered by the Faculty.
Teaching and learningBack to top
The Bachelor’s Degree Course covers three years, during which 180 ECTS credits must be obtained. To gain the necessary credits, the graduate students must complete the required training activities (courses, seminars and workshops) and an internship, as stated in the study programme.

The Licentiate and PhDs of the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences «Auxilium» are of pontifical right.
For civil purposes, the degrees are valid in accordance with the laws in force in the various countries and the particular rules of each University.
