La bellezza cifra del mistero, richiamo al trascendente,

Riassunto

La presente riflessione considera la bellezza nella sua dimensione di rimando al mistero, al Trascendente, ponendo una particolare attenzione sul contesto odierno. Si articola in due nuclei tematici. Il primo parte da un’affermazione che segnala la rottura del rapporto tra bello e sacro a partire dalla modernità e soprattutto nel nostro tempo. Questa affermazione è smentita dalla storia che, invece, presenta una singolare continuità dal mondo antico ad oggi nel riconoscere il rapporto tra bellezza, semplicità, eleganza, armonia, bontà, fede; più sinteticamente si riconosce nella realtà la verità, la bontà, la bellezza, quindi l’unità. Nel secondo nucleo si segnalano i passaggi fondamentali presenti nella tradizione biblico-cristiana ove si afferma il rapporto tra i valori della fede e la bellezza. Questi valori in concreto hanno un nome: Gesù Cristo. Essi si manifestano nella bellezza del credere.

Summary

This article reflects on beauty in its dimensions that recall mystery and the Transcendent, giving special attention to today's context. It is made up of two thematic nuclei. The first part affirms the break-up of the relationship between beauty and sacredness which took place with modernism and continues into our own time. This affirmation is then proven wrong by looking at history, which presents a singular continuity between the ancient world and today, recognizing the relationship between beauty, simplicity, elegance, harmony, goodness, and faith. More synthetically, it can be recognized in the reality of truth, goodness, beauty, and thus, unity. The second nucleus points out the fundamental passages present in the Christian Biblical tradition where the relationship between the values of faith and beauty are affirmed. The concrete manifestation of these values is Jesus Christ. They are manifested in the beauty of believing.

Résumé

Cette réflexion considère la beauté dans sa dimension de révélation d'un mystère, d’une Transcendance, en tenant compte du contexte actuel. Elle s’articule autour de deux points principaux. Le premier part d’une affirmation qui révèle une rupture du rapport entre le beau et le sacré depuis la Renaissance et surtout depuis les Temps Modernes. Or cette affirmation est démentie par l’histoire qui, au contraire, présente une singuli`re continuité de l’antiquité à nos jours, en reconnaissant le rapport entre beauté, simplicité, élégance, harmonie, bonté, foi; en simplifiant on reconnaît dans la réalité: la vérité, la bonté, la beauté et donc l'unité. Dans le second point, on relève les passages fondamentaux qui se trouvent dans la tradition biblique chrétienne où l’on affirme le rapport entre la foi et la beauté. Ces valeurs concrètement ont un nom: Jésus Christ. Elles se manifestent dans la beauté de croire.

La presente reflexión considera la bellezza en su dimensión de envío al misterio, al Trascendente, poniendo particular atención al contexto actual. Se articula en dos núcleos temáticos. El primero parte de una afirmación que señala la ruptura de la relación entre bello y sagrado a partir de la modernidad y sobre todo en nuestro tiempo. Esta afirmación es contradecida por la historia que, en cambio, presenta la existencia de una singular continuidad desde el mundo antiguo hasta hoy en el reconocer la relación entre belleza, sencillez, elegancia, armonía, bondad, fe; sintéticamente, se reconoce en la realidad la verdad, la bondad, la belleza, y por lo tanto la unidad. En el segundo núcleo se señalan los pasos fundamentales presentes en la tradición bíblico-cristiana donde se afrirma la relación entre los valores de la fe y la belleza. Estos valores concretamente tienen un nombre: Jesucristo. Ellos se manifiestan en la belleza del creer.

Abstrakt

Refleksja podjęta w tym artykule bierze pod uwagię piękno jako wymiar odsyłajcący do tajemnicy, do Transcendencji, zwracając szczególną uwagę na dzisiejszy kontekst. Podzielona jest na dwie sekcje tematyczne. Pierwsza wychodzi od stwierdzenia, że we współczesnej kulturze nie ma związku między pięknem i tym co święte. Takiemu stwierdzeniu zaprzecza historia, która przedstawia tę specyficzną ciągłość od początków kultury antyku aż do dziś, ukazując związek piękna, prostoty, elegancji, harmonii, dobra, wiary; mówiąc syntetyczniej, związek między prawdą, dobrem, pieknem, czyli jedność. W drugiej sekcji wyłonione są niektóre zasadnicze momenty z tradycji biblijno-chrześcijańskiej, podkreślające związek między wiarą i pięknem. W tym kontekście wartości te mają konkretne imię: Jezus Chrystus i objawiąją one się poprzez piękno wiary.
